OneDuck · Terms of Service

OneDuck Terms of Service

OneDuck is an app from Nordic Duck AB (Swedish company reg. no. 559606-7693). These terms set out what applies when you use OneDuck, the apps in it and the apps you build. When you accept the terms in the app, you enter into this agreement with us. How we handle your personal data is described in the privacy policy.

Price and beta

OneDuck is free. If we add anything that costs money, you will be told the price in advance, and you only pay if you choose to. OneDuck is still in development and is currently being tested through TestFlight, so features may change or disappear and errors may occur. If you use the iPhone app during testing, Apple’s TestFlight terms also apply.

Your account

Rules for everyone

We have zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive behaviour. This applies to everything in OneDuck: apps, names, images, what you write in groups’ apps and what you ask AI to create. You may not:

The AI builder refuses apps that break the rules, and apps from other users appear in Discover only after we have reviewed them.

Complaints

A complaint is when something breaks the rules or the law: an app, content in an app or how someone behaves. Report apps directly in the app and block users who bother you. Send everything else, and reports from people without an account, to [email protected]: say what it concerns, where it is and why it is wrong. We review complaints every day and normally handle them within 24 hours. If something breaks the terms, we remove it and may suspend the account that posted it. The person you reported is not told who reported them.

If we remove something you have posted or restrict your account, you will be told what it concerns and why. If you think we got it wrong, you can reply to the notice or email us, and we will look at it again. If something threatens someone’s life or safety, we contact the police.

Feedback

We welcome thoughts, ideas and bugs you find, under Account → Send feedback or in TestFlight. We read feedback every day, but it is not handled as quickly as complaints. If it concerns something that breaks the rules, send it as a complaint.

What you build and share

What you build and add is yours. We use it only to run OneDuck:

You are responsible for having the right to use what you add, and for making sure that what you share complies with the terms.

If you share an app you have built, the following applies: you decide what the app does within OneDuck’s rules. OneDuck is responsible for how the data is handled and responds to the people who use the app. You don’t get to see other people’s data, beyond what everyone who uses the app sees.

Official apps and other people’s apps

Apps marked as official are built by us, and we are responsible for them. Other apps are built by users. We review them before they are shown to strangers in Discover, but not apps shared directly between friends and groups. Every app asks for permission before it may use your calendar, AI, the internet, your location or notifications, and you can change this at any time.

An app may ask whether OneDuck may use what you correct to make the app better. It is always voluntary, OneDuck asks and is responsible, the app’s creator never sees your contributions, and you can withdraw at any time. How this works is described in the privacy policy.

AI

OneDuck uses AI to build apps and in the apps’ features. What you send goes to our AI providers, as described in the privacy policy. We make no claim to what AI creates for you. Keep in mind that such content may resemble other content that already exists and is not always protected by copyright. AI can be wrong. Check important information, and do not make medical, legal or financial decisions based only on AI answers.

Other services

When you connect Google, Microsoft or other services, their terms also apply. We only do what you ask with your access, and you can disconnect the service at any time. We are not responsible for other services or for content fetched from them.

Our liability

We do our best to make OneDuck work and keep it secure, but we cannot promise that it will always work without interruptions or errors. So keep your own copy of anything that is important to you. We are not responsible for other users’ apps and content, or for indirect losses such as loss of income. We are always liable when we have caused damage intentionally or through gross negligence, for personal injury, and where the law does not allow exclusions. Nothing in these terms limits the rights you have as a consumer.

Ending

You can stop using OneDuck and delete your account at any time. If you break the terms, we may restrict or suspend your account. For serious breaches we do so immediately; otherwise we warn you first. If we shut down OneDuck, we will give at least 30 days’ notice, so that you have time to save what you want to keep.

Changes to the terms

If we change the terms in a way that matters to you, we will tell you in the app at least 30 days before the change takes effect and ask you to accept the new terms. If you do not want to, you can delete your account before then. Minor changes that do not affect you, such as corrected typos, apply immediately.

Apple

This agreement is between you and Nordic Duck AB, not Apple. We, not Apple, are responsible for OneDuck and for support, warranties and claims relating to the app, for example if it breaks the law or infringes someone’s rights. You confirm that you do not live in a country subject to a US trade embargo and are not on any US sanctions list. Apple and its subsidiaries may enforce these terms against you. This section applies when you use the iPhone app.

Law and disputes

Swedish law applies, but you keep the consumer protection you have under the law where you live. Contact us first, and we will try to resolve the matter. If you live in Sweden, you can then turn to the National Board for Consumer Disputes (Allmänna reklamationsnämnden, ARN, arn.se). Otherwise, disputes are settled by the ordinary courts, and as a consumer you can always bring proceedings where you live.
